Product Description:

1. Charcoal-stripped fetal bovine serum is a serum product with low steroid levels. Charcoal stripping reduces the concentration of many hormones and growth factors in serum, such as estradiol, cortisol, corticosterone, B vitamins, T3, T4 and prostaglandins. This serum is suitable for experiments in which these molecules may interfere with the results; for cell cultures that require these molecules, it may reduce cell growth performance.
